Auckland District Health Board Clinical Psychologist / Psychologist – Cancer Support Team

Psychologist (Clinical or General Scope) – 0.6 FTE permanent

Psychologist (Clinical or General Score) – 0.9 FTE fixed term till June 2018

We are looking for two Psychologists to join the ADHB Cancer Support team.  The Cancer Support team is a team of psychologists and social workers and part of the national Cancer Psychological and Social Support Initiative. This team aims to improve the quality of life for people with cancer by providing high quality psychological and social support interventions. 

The team works across many ADHB specialities and in collaboration with the Northern Region DHB’s. Working closely with members of the multidisciplinary team, cancer NGO’s and initiative staff across the region and country, this role is dynamic and rewarding.  

Opportunities could be available for both experienced and recently qualified Psychologists who can align with the Auckland DHBs values.  Ideally candidates will have experience in oncology psychology, or have worked in a physical health care setting.  A current annual practicing certificate is required for both roles.
