Capital & Coast District Health Board’s Intellectual Disability Service is coordinating a two-day workshop on advanced skills for working with children and adults with autism.

The workshop is facilitated by experts from Altogether Autism and will take place in Porirua on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th of July.

The workshop is aimed at registered clinicians who already have some knowledge and experience for working with people with autism.

Workshop coverage includes latest autism theories, assessment and treatment. A significant emphasis will be placed on facilitated group discussion and attendees being supported to share and unpack personal cases within the context of the workshop content.

Further information, including instructions for how to register, are available in the flyer.
