  • Intensive Training in the DBT Prolonged Exposure Protocol for PTSD - Monday 17th to Thursday 20th February 2020, Auckland. This 4-day workshop is designed to provide intensive training in how to integrate PTSD treatment into standard DBT. This training is led by US-based expert trainers, including Dr Melanie Harned who is the developer of the DBT-PE protocol. Participants will learn the DBT Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE) protocol for treating PTSD, one of the newest developments in DBT research and practice. This training is for mental health professionals who have attended a DBT Intensive or Foundational training or equivalent and who currently provide DBT individual therapy.   • Introduction to DBT -  Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th February 2020 in Auckland. This two-day workshop is for mental health professionals who wish to acquaint themselves with the treatment or who are considering further training in DBT. The training introduces change-based and acceptance-based principles, along with the dialectical strategies that provide balance. It highlights the frame of DBT and defines the modes and functions of comprehensive DBT. We introduce a core selection of DBT skills. Click here for more information and to register online.
