The ECPAT Child ALERT team provides both online and offline workshops, focusing on CSEC:

  • Hidden in Plain Sight”: What is Human Trafficking and CSEC - A "101" Overview. This is a  “101” level workshop where we will teach you how to identify and respond to human trafficking and CSEC. We are excited to be providing our fully-subsidised training on Thursday, February 4, 2021 (1pm-3pm).  
  • Workshops on sex trafficking and survival sex (Wednesday, February 10, 2021 - 1pm-3pm), online sexual abuse material, CSEC in the NZ context, CSEC and COVID-19, and responses and effects of CSEC (dates TBD). This workshop series will be held online.  
  • Fully-subsidised in-person workshops, "Hidden in Plain Sight": Ending Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children in Aotearoa, on Thursday, February 18, 2021 (2pm-4pm) at Studio One Toi Tu in Meeting Room 6, 1 Ponsonby Rd., Grey Lynn.
