What does it take to maintain a vibrant, emotionally open sexuality as part of an intimate relationship? To continue to have desire, to enjoy touch, to allow yourself to feel physical longing for affection and sex, to savour giving to and getting from, to continually be brave enough to ask for what you so desperately long for? Part of the answer to this vexing problem can be found by understanding sexual trauma in a new way. Sexual trauma is ubiquitous, affecting a third of our clients and until it is addressed, it makes sexual intimacy impossible.
Aline Zoldbrod’s concept of developmental sexual trauma, which includes broader family-of-origin abuse, will enable you to further understand and help your clients.

Aline Zoldbrod, (Ph.D). is an American psychologist and lecturer who is an expert in field of sexuality. She is the author of "SexSmart: How Your Childhood Shaped Your Sexual Life and What to Do About It"; “Men, Women and Infertility: Intervention and Treatment Strategies” and she co-authored “Sex Talk: Uncensored Exercises for Exploring What Really Turns You On”. She has published articles in peer reviewed journals and has contributed chapters on sexuality to medical textbooks. She has conducted seminars, workshops, and spoken at conferences throughout the US, Canada, and Australia for the past 26 years.

Cancellations 30 days prior to the event: A $75.00 cancellation fee applies. Participants must notify Sex Therapy New Zealand, (STNZ Ltd) in writing via email.
Cancellations 14-29 days prior to the event: A cancellation fee of 50% of workshop price. Participants must notify Sex Therapy New Zealand Ltd in writing via email.
Cancellations less than 14 days prior to the event: No refund. Full fees apply. Participants must notify Sex Therapy New Zealand Ltd in writing via email.
Transfer of registration to another person: Registrations can be transferred in full to another person on notification to Sex Therapy New Zealand Ltd. Where a participant can attend part of the training, transfer of the remainder of the registration is not possible. Participants must notify Sex Therapy New Zealand Ltd in writing via email.
