NZCCP Waikato Branch invites you to attend a workshop
Conceptualisation and treatment of trauma disorders: From PTSD to DID
- Date: Thursday February 15th, 2024
- Time: 9am-4pm
- Venue: TBD
Morning & afternoon tea and lunch provided.
This workshop will explore how to conceptualise trauma-related psychological disorders that provides a map for clinical decision making, tracking and intervening. After providing some framing information and looking at the clinical material that needs to be considered along the therapeutic journey, specific examples will be provided to illustrate the movement towards and through trauma processing. The conceptual framework will then be extended to capture key treatment considerations for dissociative identity disorder, which will then be fleshed out with clinical material (including any that attendees may have).
