She specialises in trauma and pain management. She has worked together with women and couples with regard to psychological processes in the planning, pre and postnatal stages of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as working alongside women and their families with endometriosis, chronic pain, and sexual difficulties for example. Her approach is centred on both the overall well-being of the individual as well as the impact on the wider family system, mostly utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-focusing on the interactions of thoughts, feelings and behaviour) as the primary treatment modality as well as Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) and Mindfulness.
