Bio: I am a registered clinical psychologist who was born and raised in Invercargill. I have recently opened my own private practice and am currently accepting new private assessment and psychotherapy referrals. I am also ACC registered to accept sensitive claims, pain management, and behaviour support services. As my service develops, I will begin to additionally provide neuropsychological/cognitive assessments.

I started professional practice in 2011 and I have since worked in numerous different settings including assessment and interventions with offenders, Autistic Spectrum and Intellectually Disabled populations, Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health and chronic pain management services. As a result, I am competent in working with child, adolescent and adult populations and have developed vast experience in working with a wide variety of clinical presentations.

I am trained in various evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP), Maudsley Family Therapy (MFT) among with others. My passion is to continually develop my assessment and therapy skills and adjust my therapy style to meet my individual client needs. In order to achieve this, I endeavour to work alongside clients to discover their unique strengths and integrate therapy techniques to help them move toward their goals.
