We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our small, well-functioning, multidisciplinary team based at Tohu Wairua Warkworth who strives towards the common goal of providing mental health recovery support and treatment to people across the Rodney district.

This is a part time 0.8 fte position offering plenty of scope for extension variety. At Tohu Wairua Community Mental Health Team you will be providing essential and highly valued specialist psychological services and consultation to the team. Flexibility of days and hours can be negotiated.

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:
• Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Psychology or equivalent
• Proven psychological, psychometric and neuropsychological assessment skills
• Experience working within a DBT framework (preferable) and/or in other particular evidence based interventions and therapy modalities
• Sound skills in specialist mental health assessment, treatment and safety planning
• NZPB registration, clinical scope
• Current APC

You will be part of a broader team of four psychologists at Rodney Adult Mental Health Services (Warkworth, Helensville and Red Beach) and part of a group of 25 psychologists across Adult Mental Health Services – North, West and Rodney. You will also be supported by a professional senior (Principal Psychologist, Adult) and a professional advisor (Psychology Lead Advisor) within mental health services.

Under the APEX collective contract psychologists receive up to $2500 each per year for Continuing Professional Development which can be accumulated over two years to $5000. This offers the chance to attend overseas conferences or multiple workshops, plus books, and subscriptions each year.
