We are looking for a suitably experienced Registered Psychologist to provide psychological assessments and interventions for our sexual health clients in order, to maintain, enhance and promote sexual and reproductive health. We need someone who is keen to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients at the Sexual Health Service within Community & Long Term Conditions

Auckland Sexual Health Service is a multidisciplinary regional service covering all aspects of sexual health care and support. It is one of the largest sexual health service facilities in Australasia and is a leading provider of clinical training and research. The service is recognised by the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine as a training facility.

This challenging and exciting position will cover aspects of counselling in sexual health care including psychosexual morbidity associated with sexually transmitted infections, chronic genital pain syndromes, sexual dysfunction, , HIV counselling and crisis management. This role involves being part of a multidisciplinary team working with transgender and non-binary clients attending Sexual Health for provision of gender affirming healthcare.

As an ideal candidate, you should have minimum 4 years’ experience working in a multi-disciplinary team using standardised assessment tools and worked on a variety of evidence based treatment models. You will have a strong personal drive and determination to deliver improvements and a sound knowledge of sexual health services. You must be a registered Psychologist with a PG Diploma or Doctorate of Clinical Psychology with current NZ registration, holding a current Annual Practicing Certificate and a full NZ Driver’s licence.

This role is a part time position, covering 24 hours per week based at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
