|I am a registered clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience working within the public sector and in private practice in Auckland. I offer psychological services for people who are seeking professional help to deal with life concerns they may be struggling with, including mild difficulties or more serious mental health issues. I am skilled in treating adults and older adults presenting with a wide range of psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, adjustment to stressful life events, relationship problems, grief and bereavement etc. I enjoy working with couples.
In my practice as a clinical psychologist, I draw on Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Cognitive Analytic (CAT), Schema Therapy, Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT), and Developmental Model Couples therapy treatment approaches assisting individual clients and couples to achieve positive change
I strive to create a relaxed and supportive environment for talking about whatever is on your mind, work closely with you to gain a clearer understanding of the challenges you are facing in your life, and guide and foster your progress towards increased wellbeing and achieving your therapy goals.
