| Bio: | Following qualifying in 2004, I spent nineteen years working for Waitemata District Health Board in the Adult Community Mental Health Centre providing assessment and therapy and as my experience increased, working as a consultant. Between 2000 and 2004, I worked as an intern/assistant clinical psychologist in elderly, forensic and specialist cognitive therapy mental health settings. I have been working part-time in private practice since 2010 and began full time private work in 2023. I have provided supervision for clinical psychologists, psychiatric registrars, and other mental health professionals. I have also been involved in the teaching and training of clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health clinicians in specialist areas. I have worked as a specialist in the assessment of adult autism (‘Level One’) since 2016 and in treating psychological difficulties commonly experienced from an ‘autistic framework’. |
