| Bio: | Originally from the UK I have been living in New Zealand nearly 30 years. I have around 22 years of experience as a psychologist much of that working in counselling and health contexts. I am currently in private practice. I work four days in Palmerston North. Much of the work I have been doing with clients over the last six or seven years relates to trauma. The main therapeutic modality I use is Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, or EMDR, with elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or ACT and an attachment lens. I work with adults 18+ I am also open to using telepsychology via Zoom when face to face options are limited or not possible at all. |
