About
Throughout the course of our lives we will all have experiences that challenge our wellbeing, whether that’s a specific mental health problem or adjustment to difficult life events. These ups and downs are a normal part of living, not something you should feel ashamed about or have to manage alone.
I work with people to manage and overcome a range of challenges. Most commonly, I work with people on:
- Anxiety, stress, overwhelm and burnout
- Depression and low mood
- Managing difficult thoughts and emotions
- Traumatic experiences and post traumatic stress
- Interpersonal and relationship problems
- Adjustment to difficult life events (such as grief and loss, separation, or change of significant life roles, e.g. becoming a parent or retirement)
- Workplace issues.
I am passionate about women’s wellbeing, and a lot of my work is in supporting women through turbulent periods of their lives, including challenges such as:
- Peri and post natal mental health
- Pregnancy loss
- Traumatic experiences related to pregnancy and birth
- Managing perimenopausal and menopausal mental health (e.g., fatigue, anxiety, low mood, concentration problems).
I also offer professional supervision to other mental health and allied health professionals.
