I am a Clinical Psychologist for Nurture Psychology a specialist private practice for eating disorders anxiety & mood concerns. I work with clinically significant fussy eating (ARFID) amongst children & teens based on a specialist form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-AR). I also work with our younger adolescents/teens with anorexia nervosa typically within the framework of Adolescent & Parent Treatment (APT) which combines family based & individual adolescent treatment models. I enjoy the collaborative way of working with the family toward both physical and psychological recovery that APT provides. In particular providing a space for the young persons’ voice & supporting them to find their own identity resilience and strengths alongside family-based work in order to overcome the eating disorder. I am also the founder of Ascent Psychology: a sport based psychology service supporting athletes of any age with developing mental skills to enjoy participating in sport / movement and feel confident in their bodies and performance.
