About
I work a small number of hours in private practice, alongside part-time work within adult community mental health for Te Whatu Ora Waitaha (Health New Zealand Canterbury). I’ve worked in this area for over 10 years, seeing adults, couples and families with a wide range of struggles, including depression, trauma, anxiety, alcohol and drug use, psychosis, bipolar disorder and attachment difficulties. I have an interest in women's health. This includes physical health conditions as well as maternal mental health and the emotional processes of becoming and being a parent. I also supervise other mental health professionals.
I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves more and learn ways to make life easier and more meaningful. Compassion, integrity, and authenticity are fundamental values to me and I believe it is a privilege to walk alongside people for a part of their journey.
