About
I strive to work in a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and approachable manner. My main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I aim to provide evidence-based and supportive therapy that is tailored to meet individual needs.
I have experience in undertaking comprehensive clinical assessments and providing therapy on both an individual and group basis. I have experience working in private and public healthcare and criminal justice settings. I have also worked in the clinical research field as part of the University of Canterbury’s Mental Health and Nutrition Research group undertaking assessments of children who were engaged in treatment for ADHD.
Alongside private work, I continue to work in the criminal justice sector with clients under the care of the Department of Corrections. I enjoy working with individuals struggling with anxiety and mood difficulties and have a special interest in assessing adult ADHD. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my young family and socialising with friends.
