About

We all face life transitions; becoming a parent, changing jobs or roles, starting or ending relationships, or moving city or country. Change can be exciting and energising; it can enrich our lives. And there can be things to leave behind. The change process is often messy and uncomfortable. It can temporarily impact our functioning and emotional well-being, triggering anxiety, low mood or adjustment difficulties. I aim to offer a space where you can talk about what you are experiencing in a way that supports new insights and develops skills to help you through the change process. I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and well-being. I have a warm, non-judgmental and compassionate style, and I use my experience and evidence-based skills and knowledge to work collaboratively with you to achieve success toward your goals. I use an integrative approach drawing on skills and knowledge from CBT, ACT and EMDR therapies while incorporating attachment and family systems theories and mindfulness approaches. I am also trained in multiple parenting approaches, including Incredible Years, Circle of Security PCIT, PCIT Toddler and Watch Wait Wonder. Particular areas of interest include the mental health and well-being of parents, neurodiversity and supporting parenting couples to work together to parent in a using a values-consistent approach based on a shared parneting vision to support child development, resilience and self-esteem.
