About
Dr Susan Yates is a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist. She completed her training at the University of Waikato, prior to moving to the United Kingdom where she worked in Diagnostic Memory Clinics in East London. On returning to New Zealand in 2013 she worked for The Memory Team at Counties Manukau Health, prior to moving into private practice. Since 2018 she has also worked for the Dementia Prevention Research Clinic (DPRC) and has worked with various Dementia research groups at the University of Auckland including the LiDiA (Living with Dementia in Aotearoa) Research Group and the IDEA Programme (Impact of Dementia mate wareware and Equity in Aotearoa).
Dr Yates has a speciality in completing assessments with older adults including in the area of neurogenerative changes and dementia. She is available for private neuropsychological assessments throughout Aotearoa New Zealand and also conducts assessments for the New Zealand Courts.
