Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Ahorangi/Ahonuku/ Pūkenga Matua - Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology to join Te Kura Mātai Hinengaro - School of Psychology on a permanent, full-time contract. In this role you will be responsible for research, teaching and supervision in the Clinical Psychology programme.

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach child Clinical Psychology and other relevant clinical topics at undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Assist the academic and clinical staff to redevelop the existing clinical psychology programme.

Key requirements:

  • An established high-quality research portfolio in the area of clinical psychology.
  • Demonstrated evidence of academic leadership.
  • Practice experience as a Clinical Psychologist and eligibility for registration as a Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand.
  • Extensive evidence of high-quality teaching at tertiary level in the area of child clinical psychology, and clinical psychology more broadly.
